Workout #10

Today was my first day in the pool as part of triathlon training. It was also my first day in the pool for 2 months! It was only a short workout 1400 metres. Unfortunately, I got to the Vancouver Aquatic Centre to find they had the pool set up for widths! So not only were the lanes not 50 metres in length, they were just shy of 25 metres. Although I did the assigned workout, I still only did just shy of 1400 metres.

My left shoulder was feeling a bit sore , which is worrying since I don’t really know how to fix it. Ten years ago when I was only swimming for exercise, my shoulder started to bother me, but a strict stretching regimen before and after my workouts helped a lot. I may need to start that again.
