Workout #21 (Building muscle!)

I met with Kristina today for a new strength workout. It’s all pretty triathlon-specific stuff, so lots of core and hamstrings and so on. Her programs are great because they won’t take me long to complete at the gym and I only have to do them twice a week (strength training is what I typically drop if I don’t have time or energy). I was pretty sore from the track workout yesterday so the hamstring stuff was hard. For some reason my upper back muscles were also sore, but I’m not sure why.

Also, I fell off the wagon a bit as I was supposed to do a swim workout today and I didn’t make it. That’s one whole week without getting in the pool.
