Workouts #41 and #42 (doubling up)

This is a recovery week, and I woke up yesterday morning feeling so drained that I couldn’t even face my scheduled recovery swim. So I skipped it in favour of an afternoon nap, and I have no regrets. Today, then, I made up for it by doing a gentle, easy swim in the afternoon, then going for today’s scheduled workout – a 30 minute run – in the evening. I hope I’m not defeating the purpose of a recovery week by doubling up on my workouts like this. It felt pretty easy anyway.
