2011 Training Goals

Specific goals:

  1. A top 3 triathlon finish in my age category. [Check!]
  2. Achieve a personal best: faster than 2:36:46 for an Olympic distance triathlon. [Nope!]
  3. Get faster on the bike: faster than 1:15:47 in an Olympic distance race. [Nope!]
  4. 46-minute 10km in a triathlon in 2011, and a 45-minute 10km in a triathlon in 2012. [Nope!]
  5. 45-minute 10km (not in a triathlon). [Almost check!]

General goals:

  1. Have fun. [Check!]
  2. Continue to build core strength (working on the measurement). [By default!]
  3. Stick with a strength training program to supplement triathlon training. [Nope!]
  4. Rest when I need to. [Check!]
